PT. Power Java Indo Sends Crew Members Abroad After Comprehensive Maritime Skills Briefing
PT. Power Java Indo proudly dispatched another group of Indonesian seafarers to work aboard international fishing vessels following an intensive pre-deployment training and maritime skills briefing. The program, conducted in-house by experienced maritime instructors, aimed to equip the crew with the essential knowledge and practical abilities required to perform effectively and safely at sea.
The briefing included sessions on safety procedures, navigation basics, onboard communication, hygiene standards, and specific job roles such as deckhand, cook, oiler, and ship officer responsibilities. Participants were also trained in soft skills to improve teamwork, discipline, and communication onboard multinational vessels.
“Our mission is not only to recruit and deploy crew members, but to prepare them with proper skills, legal documentation, and a mindset of professionalism before they set sail,” said Mr. Sanusi, President Director of PT. Power Java Indo. “This is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring our seafarers are not only competent, but also competitive in the global maritime workforce.”
All candidates underwent standardized evaluations before departure and received internationally recognized certificates of training. The deployment follows legal procedures and is supported by official contracts, ensuring full protection of the workers’ rights throughout the duration of their employment.
PT. Power Java Indo continues to expand its international partnerships and remains dedicated to elevating the quality and readiness of Indonesian maritime workers for global careers.
